Meralia is an online store, dedicated to the sale of handmade accessories made in Mexico.
Like a new brand, it was necessary to make a graphic identity that allow to communicate its essence.
A concept that was easy to recognize was developed, based on the artisan fabric of Mexican garments. This was reflected in two elements: the symbol of the isotype identifying of the brand and a texture developed to accompany all the graphic elements. The symbol represents a letter ‘M’, which is the initial of three words in spanish: «mujer» (woman in english), «mexican» and «Meralia». The chromatic range was selected to communicate the mexican identity. The typography used, is a serif type and seeks to denote characteristic features of mesoamerican prehispanic elements.
